easy wood projects
In a previous post I mentioned that I had a request for some baby animals. Unable to find some illustrations of baby animals, I am reduced to sketching my own. Since my sketching skills may not be up to par I had better identify these sketches. Starting in the upper left corner and going clockwise we have a baby deer, baby polar bear or brown bear (depends on color), piglet, and a baby skunk. I next transferred the sketches onto Basswood using carbon paper. The grain of the wood is running from top to bottom of the pieces,
After transferring the sketches to the wood I used the scroll saw to cut them out.
The next posts will focus on whittling the pieces.
